REACH Home Care is a privately owned, Washington State-licensed in-home care agency serving seniors and adults with disabilities across the Tri-Cities, Walla Walla, and the Columbia Basin. We opened in Kennewick in 2021 with a simple idea: families deserve caregivers who were trained properly, matched carefully, and backed by an office that answers the phone.

Today we run two offices, our own state-approved caregiver training center, and a team of certified Home Care Aides who help people stay in their own homes through aging, illness, dementia, Parkinson’s, and recovery after a hospital stay.

Our credentials

Everything below can be checked against public records.

  • Washington State Department of Health In-Home Services Agency License IHS.FS.61064639 (licensee: Reach Home Care Incorporated). Verify on the DOH provider credential search.
  • Washington UBI 604-584-302, registered with the Department of Revenue at our Kennewick office.
  • REACH Training Center, Kennewick: Washington State-approved provider of the 75-hour Home Care Aide training program, including Orientation and Safety, Core Basic Training, Dementia Level 1 and 2, and Mental Health Level 1, with a hands-on skills lab.
  • Rated 5.0 on Google by the families we serve.

How our caregivers are prepared

Every REACH caregiver completes Washington’s required 75 hours of Home Care Aide training and passes the state certification exam. Most of ours do it at our own training center, where they practice transfers, gait belts, Hoyer lifts, bathing assistance, and dementia communication in our skills lab before they ever enter a client’s home.

Before hire, each caregiver passes a Washington State background check. After hire, they are coached by our care coordinators on each client’s specific care plan, and they document every visit so families and physicians know what is happening at home.

What we provide

Non-medical home care: personal care and help with daily living, dementia and Alzheimer’s care, Parkinson’s and PSP support, hospital-to-home and post-surgery care, respite for family caregivers, overnight and 24-hour care, transfer and lift assistance, meals, medication reminders, housekeeping, errands, and companionship. We work alongside home health nurses, therapists, and hospice teams rather than replacing them.

We accept private pay and long-term care insurance, and we bill many insurers directly.
