REACH Training Center

Washington State-approved 75-hour Home Care Aide training in Kennewick: small classes, experienced instructors, a hands-on skills lab, Dementia Level 1 and 2, Mental Health Level 1, and a direct path to employment with REACH Home Care..

The REACH Training Center is a Washington State-approved provider of the 75-hour Home Care Aide (HCA) training program, located at our Kennewick office at 4304 W 24th Ave, Suite 150. It is where our own caregivers are trained, and it is open to anyone in the Tri-Cities who wants to start a career in home care.

We built it because the caregivers we wanted to hire did not exist in large enough numbers, and because the quality of care in a home depends almost entirely on how well the caregiver was taught. Small classes, instructors who have done the work, and a skills lab where you practice transfers and personal care before you ever meet a client.

Why train with REACH

  • Small class sizes for personalized attention and better learning outcomes.
  • Experienced industry instructors who have worked as caregivers and supervisors, not just taught.
  • A dedicated skills lab for hands-on practice: gait belts, Hoyer and sit-to-stand lifts, bathing and dressing assistance, positioning, and infection control.
  • The full state curriculum, taught to the exam, with HCA certification exam preparation built in.
  • Local and community-based, in Kennewick, with flexible session scheduling.
  • Employer-ready graduates with a career pathway. Graduates who want to work for REACH move straight into our hiring process; see Careers.
