A house that is getting away from someone tells you a lot: piled laundry, a bathroom no one can reach to clean, rugs nobody has the balance to straighten. It is also where falls happen. REACH Home Care provides light housekeeping and laundry in the Tri-Cities and Moses Lake as part of a caregiver visit, which means the same trusted person who helps with a shower or a meal also keeps the home safe and livable.

We are a locally owned, Washington State-licensed in-home services agency (DOH license IHS.FS.61064639) with offices in Kennewick and Moses Lake, and every caregiver we send completes the state’s 75-hour Home Care Aide training at our own REACH Training Center. We are a home care agency, not a cleaning company: housekeeping is one part of a visit built around the person, and it is done by a caregiver who knows them.

What light housekeeping includes

  • Kitchen and bathroom: dishes, counters, stovetop, sink, toilet, tub, and floors, with attention to the grab bars and surfaces that matter for safety.
  • Laundry and linens: washing, drying, folding, putting away, and changing the bed, including after incontinence accidents.
  • Fall-proofing as we go: clearing walkways, straightening rugs, moving cords, replacing burned-out bulbs, and keeping the things used most within easy reach.
  • Trash, recycling, and expired food: taken out every visit, with the refrigerator checked.
  • Tidying and organizing: mail sorted, surfaces cleared, medications and glasses kept where they belong.
  • Pet upkeep: feeding, litter, and a short walk when a pet is part of the household.
  • Light seasonal tasks: sweeping the entry, watering plants, bringing in packages.

What it does not include

Deep cleaning, carpet shampooing, window washing, moving furniture, yard work, and hoarding cleanouts are outside the scope of home care. If a home needs that kind of reset before regular care can begin, we are glad to recommend local services and then keep it maintained from there.

Housekeeping across the Tri-Cities and Moses Lake

We provide light housekeeping and laundry as part of in-home care in Kennewick, Richland, Pasco, West Richland, Benton City, Finley, Burbank, and Walla Walla. How to get started

  1. Call us at (509) 491-1733. Tell us what the house needs and what else would help during the visit.

  2. Free in-home assessment. A care coordinator visits the home, meets the person receiving care, and writes a plan you approve before anything begins.

  3. Caregiver match. We choose a trained caregiver whose skills, schedule, and personality fit, and introduce them in person.

  4. Ongoing adjustments. Hours and tasks change as needs change. There is no long-term contract.

Care can often begin within a day or two. We accept private pay and long-term care insurance, and we bill many insurers directly. See our long-term care insurance page for details.

Frequently asked questions

Can I hire you only for housekeeping?

We can, but for cleaning alone a cleaning service is usually cheaper. Where we add value is combining housekeeping with personal care, meals, medication reminders, or companionship in the same visit, by someone who is trained to notice changes in the person, not just the house.

Does the caregiver bring supplies?

Caregivers use the household’s own supplies and equipment, and will add needed items to the shopping list.

How often are visits?

Weekly is common for housekeeping and laundry on its own; two or three times a week when combined with other care.

Is housekeeping covered by long-term care insurance?

When it is part of a home care plan with personal care, most policies cover the visit. We help you check and bill many insurers directly.

Do you serve Moses Lake and Grant County?

Yes. Our Moses Lake office at 1010 S Pioneer Way, Suite B serves Moses Lake, Ephrata, Quincy, Othello, and surrounding communities.
